New General Manager at Semper
Effective July 1, 2018 Sebastian Schaeffer will be appointed new General Manager at Semper. He succeeds Witte van Cappellen, who will take on new responsibilities within the parent company Hero Group.
Sebastian Schaeffer (44) joined the Hero Group in 2003 when he began his career at the Schwartauer Werke in Germany. Over the proceeding 10 years, he worked in various areas of the business and was in 2012 appointed General Manager of the Schwartauer Werke. For the last three years, his responsibilities have been extended to include the Hero Central European Cluster.
Effective July 1, Schaeffer will take over the general management of Semper from Witte van Cappellen (49), who was appointed to this position in 2009. In the future Witte van Cappellen will lead the Supply Chain and Procurement functions of the Hero Group as Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and as member of the Group´s Executive Board.
